POSITION: Entry Level Manufacturing Technician (Aerospace) - DIRECT HIRE
SHIFTS:

• 1st shift: 5:30 am– 4:00 pm Monday – Thursday
• 2nd shift: 4:00 pm – 2:30 am Monday – Thursday

COMPENSATION: $17/hr. (plus 10% shift diff for 2nd shift)

• ALL EMPLOYEES ARE CURRENTLY WORKING 55 HOURS A WEEK
• 10-hour shift on FRIDAYS
• 5-hour shift on SATURDAYS

Our company builds aircraft parts and aerospace applications for a variety of unique airspace needs.

Job Description:

• Technicians are performing mechanical assembly on custom aerospace parts.
• Working from aerospace drawings/blueprints
• Performing quality inspection using micrometers and calipers
• Marking parts & deburring parts
• Operation of various machines including tumblers, grinders, drills, rivet guns, etc.
• Loading parts
• Tac welding
• Sandblasting
• Assisting in Laser & Brake press departments
• Material Handling

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude or mechanical assembly experience
• Ability and willingness to be cross-trained
• Manual dexterity to handle small parts
• Attention to detail
• Reading comprehension to follow written work orders and complete documentation
• Soft skills, including a positive attitude and the ability to work as a team

Plus Skillsets:

• Grinding/deburring
• Micrometers and calipers
• Reading blueprints
• Welding
• Operating machines
• Familiar with material handling/parts flow
• Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar continuous improvement training

Physical Requirements: Candidates will rarely lift anything heavy, but should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
